DALES Marine Services Group is on the hunt for a new HR Manager.

The company, which has more than 250 employees across five sites in Scotland, including Greenock, wants a new manager to "shape strategy, lead people initiatives."

The post is based in the central belt of Scotland, with regular site travel required.

The successful candidate will need a CIPD Level 7 qualification and senior HR experience in an operational or industrial setting.

The HR Manager will be a key member of the senior management team, playing a strategic role in the company's growth.

Key responsibilities include developing HR strategies aligned with business objectives, advising the leadership team on HR matters, and ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation.

The HR Manager will also lead recruitment, onboarding, employee relations initiatives, and drive performance management processes.

They will champion learning and development, monitor and report on key HR metrics, and lead diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Dales Marine Services Group wants someone with a proven track record in senior HR roles within medium-sized, operationally complex businesses.

They should have in-depth knowledge of UK employment law, HR policy, and best practice.

Experience supporting site-based or industrial workforces, ideally within engineering, maritime, or related sectors, is desirable.

Strong leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills are essential, as is proficiency in HR systems and data-driven decision-making.
